Cambridge Pathway
At Ruimsig Academy, learning begins from age 3 and develops through a clear, progressive Cambridge pathway. Our approach builds strong foundations in the early years before developing knowledge, critical thinking, independence and academic confidence through Primary and Secondary School. With a flexible, internationally recognised curriculum, learners are equipped with the skills and opportunities to progress with confidence towards further study and a changing world.
Where Curiosity Begins
Pre-Primary | Ages 3–6
The early years are a time of wonder, discovery and rapid growth. At Ruimsig Academy, our Pre-Primary learners are given the space to explore their world, develop their independence and discover the joy of learning.
Through a balance of structured learning, play, creativity and meaningful interaction, children begin developing the social, emotional, physical and early academic skills that prepare them for their next stage.
Our nurturing environment allows young learners to feel secure, supported and confident as they take their first steps into their educational journey.
A stuctured academic programme starting at 07:30 to 13:00 prepare our toddlers for the exciting challenges of the Cambridge Curriculum. At approach to instil a lifelong love for learning.
Over and above our own modified and combined curriculum the following are included the school fee:
Grade 1 to Grade 6 (Ages 7 – 12)
Ruimsig Academy teachers are highly qualified and dedicated. They approach teaching with a hands-on philosophy; and believe that every child has the potential to succeed. Foundation Phase also has the help of assistant teachers. Their role is to assist teachers with general classroom management; and help monitor student’s progress
What will students learn? – The programme develops the skills of research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and communication. It strengthens the links across English as a first or second language, mathematics, science, which are the core of Cambridge International, combined with ICT.

As learners progress into Primary School, their natural curiosity is developed into deeper knowledge, stronger skills and growing independence.
Our Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes provide a structured and engaging learning environment where learners are encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently, solve problems and take increasing responsibility for their learning.
With dedicated teachers, supportive class environments and opportunities to learn through both theory and practical experiences, we help every learner build the academic foundations they need for the years ahead.

Grade 7 and Grade 8 Lower Secondary (Age 13 to 14)
The concept of a ‘Cambridge learner’ helps us communicate attributes we believe are important for learners in the modern world.
We recognise that a meaningful curriculum is more than a collection of subjects. Learners need to develop a set of academic skills, life skills and attitudes to be successful.
We encourage learners to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged:

Cambridge Lower Secondary includes optional tests to help us assess your child’s development, compare individual students and class performance, and report progress to you and your child.
