Subjects Not Available to Private Candidates
While Alma Mater International School offers a wide range of Cambridge examinations, some subjects cannot be offered to private candidates due to coursework requirements, controlled assessments, or long-term project components that must be completed within a registered Cambridge teaching programme.
These subjects generally require ongoing teacher supervision, portfolio development, or coursework moderation, which cannot be facilitated for external candidates.
Examples of subjects that may not be available to private candidates include:
- Art & Design
- Drama
- Global Perspectives
- Design & Technology (coursework components)
- Music
- Physical Education
- Certain coursework-based language options
Subject availability may also vary depending on:
- Examination component requirements
- Laboratory or specialist equipment needs
- Examination scheduling constraints
If you are unsure whether your subject is available for private entry at our centre, please complete the enquiry form above before registering, and our team will advise you accordingly.
